The Detroit Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization will once again host the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) on January 15th in Troy, Michigan. The winner of the local competition can go on to complete at the regional, national, and ultimately international competition hosted in Cape Town, South Africa.
This event is a 5-minute business pitch competition where students describe the concept and approach behind their functioning business. The event will be limited to the first 8 qualified applicants and there is no cost to enter.

Calling all young entrepreneurs who want the opportunity sell items they make at the upcoming lemonade stand event. The Detroit Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization will once again invite young entrepreneurs to sell their goods at this year’s GSEA competition. Lemonade stand registration is free and attendees at the GSEA competition will have the chance purchase goods offered by young entrepreneurs. Each entrepreneur will be assigned a table in the atrium at the auditorium center (item #5 on diagram) at Walsh College located at 3838 Livernois Road, Troy, Michigan 48083 where he/she can display and sell their goods.
Young entrepreneurs who want to participate can register using the form below. There are a limited number of tables available so please register early to ensure a spot for your child.
The GSEA event will be held on January 15th, 2026 in the Walsh College auditorium (item #5 on diagram) located at 3838 Livernois Road, Troy, Michigan 48083. Competition starts at 2 p.m. and guests are encouraged to arrive early for seating before the activities begin.
